Prior to implementing our VoIP telephone system, we had
a Verizon measured
business line at the site. This phone line provided us with two things.
1.Limited
functionality (local calling only and it was MEASURED)
2.A
big bill for the limited functionality.
So, we approached Metrocast and they were able to
install a cable modem for
us.
It only made sense to dump Verizon, get the cable modem
and get a VoIP phone line.
We took the IP phone line a step further. We installed
a telephone system that allows us
to use the phone line for club business, voicemail, repeater phone patch and repeater control.
