For the September meeting we'll continue exploring ways to get on the air using six meters, on the cheap. The building of the six meter J Pole antenna & tuning it will be the main topic. We'll also look into the addition of 2 meters & 70 centimeters for a couple of dollars more. The fabrication of this mono/triband will result in a high performance antenna that will cost less than $30 & equal the performance of a $150 commercial triband antenna. Refreshments will be provided. We will also be voting for the position of club secretary. Dave Stamps W1DBS (formerly KB1QHE) has been nominated for the position, but we will be taking nominations from the floor as well.
